Airbag Question - Concerned about Failure
I am probably being paranoid for no reason as many people have air bags installed on their PSD. I just installed the Ride Rite bags on my 2015 F250. I noticed the drivers side is so close to the brake lines (upper mount) and thought if it fails, it would take out my brake lines. Am I worried over nothing?

Thanks for the comforting response. Fri will be my first tow experience using the bags. Headed to Hershey Park Campground for the weekend.

I started with 25 pounds in mine for the first tow. It was too much. She felt like she was floating back there. Settled on 20 for the last two seasons, with an occasional bump up. You'll find your comfort zone, and you will be amazed at the difference. Safe travels!

Trip Report - I inflated them to 20 psi. This got me to 3/4" below my unloaded measurement. On the 150 mile trip, everything seemed fine. The trailer felt a little floaty. On the way back, I inflated them to 15 psi and the floaty feeling was gone. We were much lighter than norm. Usually we have the bikes and other gear with us. Next week we are off to a four day excursion at Camp Luray. We'll be loaded a little heavier then. Still thinking of running 20 psi as a starter for that trip. So far so good. Thanks for all he tips.
