If you're avoiding silicates, check the jugs label on what ever you're considering. If it says " CAT-EC1" it contains no silicates.

The Rotella Ultra ELC is pretty scarce around here but I can get the premix Rotella ELC from Tractor Supply anytime I walk in. And at that price I can change it out earlier then recommended.

I'm running the Zerex ELC. It was the only one I could find around here easily. All the Napa's around here have both pre-mix and straight-up and it's red. No complaints with it so far

Prestone sells a RED Extended Life Coolant that is the DexCool formulation. Do not use it! Toyota's use a Red Extended Life Coolant (no-brainer not to use it).

Look for the specs, don't just go by color.
