Airated oil and fluctuating idle.

Ever since I bought my truck it has had a fluctuating idle (barely can notice on tach) when idling for an extended period of time(drive thru's). Also when I start the truck when it is warm it is very lopey but slowly smooths out within 20 sec or so. Also at idle the oil pressure gauge bounces around and sometimes drops to zero. Yesterday when I got home I pulled the dipstick and found like 100 tiny bubbles on it so it has me wondering if i dropped the pickup tube or my LPOP is in need of replacing and allowing some oil to go behind the fins at idle.
Any ideas?THX
i can also post videos if need be.

It's possible you have a cracked/broken pickup tube. Try and overfill the oil a couple quarts and see if it still acts up.

Look in The High pressure oil res . That is where aerated oil would matter the most .C Case oil is after LPOP & After HPOP . Have you looked at the wiring connection on the ICP ? Look for corrosion or oil . Can also be the IPR

There is a procedure to follow to test for a cracked pickup tube . Its a bit more involved ( & uncomfortable ) to do .
