Ford EXP Extended Warranty

I'm looking at the Ford Premium plan 8 year 100K miles and I can't believe the price difference for the same plan from 3 different dealers online, from the high to low it's $1134 difference. Are they really the same plan or do some dealers leave something out to get the price down.

All the extended warranty plans are a money maker for the F&I guys. I have a buddy that works for a GMC dealer. He says he sells $3000.00 extended warranty's all day long, his cost on them is $1200. Definitely a negotiable price.

I bought a 8 yr, 100K, $200 deductible, Premiumcare warranty from these folks last year.

Ford Extended Warranty | Genuine Ford ESP | Discounted Pricing

If you sign up for their promotions, they send you E-mail "coupons" that you can use to get a further discount off of their price.

Ultimately, my price was a $1100 lower than the dealer who sold me my truck.

My dealer EXP prices are too high, I will be buying from a Ford Dealer elsewhere online and save a bundle.
I will give my Dealer a chance though to match the best price I found but on the F150 they told me "No Way".

Thanks for that Link RWNJ, their prices were lower than the other online I was going to go with, I really doubt my Dealer can Match it.

Thanks sdetwell, This is the one I was going to go with for my 14F150 before I hit that magic number 12,000 miles/12months.
They are the lowest for what I need, no way is my Dealer going to be able to match.

This was the one that had the lowest price of all the ones I looked at, $1140 for the 0 deductible the highest was Lombard Ford at $2374 for the same plan.

I have never bought one before and the only reason I'm doing so on this truck is because of all the electronics, every time I look at the nav screen and information center I think of all the $ to repair them plus all the stuff that moves every time I put the key in the ignition.

I did mine through flood as well. Over 2 grand cheaper than my dealer and they wouldn't budge. Retarded.

rvpuller, same here. Never bought one before but like you stated, I'm more concerned with the Electronics than anything else.

Sorry.....Not sure what happened to Lombard Ford ?? I ran a quote for the same plan I bought back in January, and it's now much more expensive.... Not sure if I caught a special deal back then or if they changed their business model.

I heard from the NJ Dealer that I buy my leftovers from that Ford is cracking down on dealers selling the ESP Warranty's on line for discounted prices. First thing they are doing is limiting the number of ESPs a dealer can sell to the number of new vehicles they sell, so a small dealer in the middle of nowhere can't be selling hundreds of ESP Warranties on line for cheap.

That could be why we are seeing higher prices all of a sudden - I've only heard this from one dealer - so

So this would come real close to price fixing or at least approaching the borders of such. Major Breach of Federal Law, I don't think Ford would explore pushing the limits. The Government seems to be very aggressive in hitting companies with very steep fines as punishment as of late.
I'm just saying....

I bought one through Flood this morning, 8 years 0 deductible 100K miles I may have to use it when we get back from our travels this winter, my backup camera isn't as clear as it should be but I will have to take it out of my louvered tailgate and put it back into the Ford gate before I bring it in.
