Many things to consider....mostly what type/size wheels do you want to run? Are you keeping it as a big truck(dually), or more car like? If you want to swap in later IFS, you have to be very mindful of track width.
Most people do a complete chassis swap, but this brings even more challenges as you know. Some work better than others.

I should be running lower profile tires this Coe will be lower and be like a regular pickup. If i use the Coe frame i wont use the 11 inch rail for the cab. I was hoping maybe a newer rear and IFS to eliminate the WM problem and better ride with disc brakes.

My coe came with a 8 lug f250 8' bed chassis under her.

Of course like most people I intend on getting rid of the f250 chassis and putting the coe on a 7.3L turbo diesel van chassis. So I can make a car hauler.

I think if I was going to keep the coe a pickup truck I would simply install a crown vic suspension on the f250 chassis along with a 8.8 ford explorer rear axle like I did in my 1956 F100 Crew Cab.

Hopefully I find a new owner for the F250 chassis and 8' bed soon or it will be heading to the scrap yard to make room for the e350 econoline chassis I picked up a few weeks back.

Well. When I say I will be scrapping it. I mean of course after I pick it clean.

Is there a chance you could use a motorhome front and rear axles on the coe's? I was looking to put one under my F4 and remembered a thread by Danbear? and the front wheels stuck out a bit too far. Dunno about the coe's, they are kinda scary to me.

First Coe is on F250 frame

That was my plan in the beginning of the year but i heard alot of talk on here about Lexus IFS and f450 spindles I cant keep up with it all. Im just always looking for the better mouse trap. My other Coe is going on an F250 4 wd frame. I would of loved finding a E350 7.3L diesel for it.

What other years and models

Can you tell me what other models than the 2003-07 crown vic IFS is the aluminum bolt up style. Does Lincoln and Mercury grand marquis have it and if so what years.

I think I might have posted this before. Probably way overkill and probably cost an arm and a leg.
