EGR and H&S MM questions?
Just finished the EGR delete and got the h&s for the truck. On stock tune I'm noticing more get up and gooo, but the transmission is shifting hard, or fairly hard when you lay into it a hair, normal barely putting foot in it, 8psi ish no problems, around 11psi and it starts shifting hard. When I get into about 22psi it really shifts hard. So far the Trans temp is set at 160 I think, and I've read that it should be set at like 200, so it says "defueling: Trans temp". Also, what's TC locked mean????

Tc locked means that your torque converter is locked up, so a solid connection from engine to transmission at this point. Depending what trans tune you have loaded it will lock in 4th and 5th, or just 5th. Trans temps stay lower the sooner it locks fyi.
How long has your truck been tuned? Your trans will take some time to relearn itself to the new tune and then the shifts should smooth out a bit. There's also a relearn procedure you can do to make it happen faster....but that involves some wide open throttle runs. I've never done the relearn procedure myself, have always just let it learn under normal driving.
You'll def want to raise the trans temp up to around 200....160 is a fairly avg temp for the trans to run at if not slightly higher. When the tuner defuels it lowers the power level back to the lowest settings.

Should be ok but if you keep experiencing the harshness when not putting a good load on it then I would consider custom tunes. Weak components can also cause issues.
From Ford - In the event of a battery disconnect
5r110 Shift Relearning Strategy
1. Warm the engine and transmission to operating temperature with all accessories off.
2. Idle engine for one minute with engine warm and all accessories off.
3. Idle engine for one minute with A/C on.
Then:
1. While driving, perform three series of upshifts at light, medium and heavy throttle.
2. While stopped, perform three sets of gear engagements (N-R, N-D, D-R, R-D) with the brake pedal firmly depressed and waiting three seconds between each engagement.
Perform these steps once in normal mode and once in tow/haul.
From H&S site, collected long ago.
After H&S tuning is installed, perform each of the following 0-80 MPH runs while in the HOT power level. During this relearn process, you may experience hesitation during shifts, hard shifts, or defuel patterns, all of which are normal:
0-80 MPH @ 25% throttle position, then slow down and come to a complete stop.
0-80 MPH @ 50% throttle position, then slow down and come to a complete stop.
0-80 MPH @ 100% throttle position, then slow down and come to a complete stop.

You said "Stock Tune"... when programming the truck did you program it to be 'emissions removed'? if not you need to re-do that immediately.
If you did it correctly good, just the way you typed that the first thing that came to my mind was 'stock' being emissions present and that will shut down the whole truck.
