Braking problem on 2015 F250 SC
F250 under 4000 miles pulls you into opposite lane of traffic during hard braking (anti-locks engaged). Normal braking is fine. Under testing about 99% of time during hard braking truck pulls to left and on occasion truck will pull to right.
Took to dealership for problem and took service manager for test ride so he could experience problem. Service work performed on truck was: #1 cleaned caliper slides of brake dust, #2 bled brakes, #3 changed right caliper. Took my truck for test drive and it still pulls the same.
He suggested a test drive in another truck F250 4 dr diesel. This truck stopped straight. Then took an F250 4 dr gasoline truck for a drive and it stopped straight also. Then they said let's take identical truck F250 SC gasoline and during hard braking it pulled left. Ford dealership said since computer showed no faults and the (identical truck) pulled also that it's a characteristic of a F250 SC gasoline truck. IF anyone else has this identical truck, can you please try hard breaking (panic stop) to engage anti-locks and let me know how it stops. Ford dealership said to come pick up truck and I quote "they are not throwing parts at it" since another truck did same thing and it's a characteristic of the same model. Or, if anyone else had their truck serviced for same problem and fixed, what was the problem?

I am a retired auto mechanic.. (NOT at Ford)
my boss would have my head.. if I said something like that to a customer....
toss parts at a problem.. that is SO unprofessional... even just to say it.
open your owners manual.. should be a listing for Customer Service at FORD.. call them... for BOTH .. for the brakes and the Dealer..
never 1 caliper, never reuse brake pads when replacing a caliper....
replacing only one caliper can make the PULL worse....not better.
things that can make a truck pull under hard braking
defective brake part
low air pressure in 1 front tire
front end alignment
bad front wheel bearing
and the list can go on an on....

I have contacted Ford customer care service and a case has been opened. Advised by the regional customer service manager to get a second opinion at a different dealership. Appointment is for next Wednesday (8-26). It's further away and a major inconvenience but a necessary evil. Will definitely post an update after that diagnosis. In my opinion, this truck should never have been released from service and is not safe and should not pass inspection in PA. Was hoping there was another braking problem out there that has been repaired by Ford and exactly what the problem was. Thanks for all you input.

What an ignorant comment for someone in a dealership to make.
Having spent 30 years in the brake industry working with all the car companies what your dealer stated is not acceptable. Any hint of a consistent brake pull in a vehicle platform or a specific trim line within that platform would get an engineering study for immediate resolution.
The initial launch of the P131 platform back in 1999-2000 had a pull issue that was resolved by insuring that all brake pads installed were from the same batch of production due to the early inconsistent manufacturing by the friction material supplier to show how serious Ford engineering takes this.
I'm glad to hear you have customer care involved.
Being able to brake in a straight line under all conditions is a paramount safety issue.

I have the 6.2 gasser. I did test panic stops on dry pavement and wet pavement as a learning experience for my own personal knowledge. The trucks stopped in a nice straight line in both circumstances. Once we get our first snow of the year I'll have another set of tests I need to run. Welcome to the forum!
