One thing I'll add here and I'm still waiting on the shop to find time to install these is that I purchased a starter heat shield wrap. It's $20.00 from Jegs or Summitt. Cant wait to get these things on and hopefully all this saved the shop a bunch of trouble. I have also purchased the Stage 8 locking header bolts that use allen wrench style bolts to tighten.
Well the verdict is in. Got these installed by a performance shop. I've only driven the truck about 10 miles since because now I have e fan problems but that's another story. The shop charged $425 for the install then the muffler shop charged $250 to make and fit the new mid pipe. I'm pretty happy with them for sure but a word a caution......The shop asked what kind of headers these were because he would not recommend them if you don't have the tools to modify them quite a bit. He said exactly what Toplait said. Mainly the biggest problem is the header bolt holes don't exactly line up. The egg shaped holes have to be drilled out more then he had to do some bending too because when he dropped the truck on the ground they were hitting something (frame or driveshaft I think). Also he said he didn't feel comfortable using my stage 8 locking header bolts because the flange on the headers is so thick there were only a couple threads holding in the bolts so they used their own with big stainless washers and lots of lock tite and copper RTV sealant. If there are any questions just let me know
Not too bad, I've bent many a header for driveshaft clearance. If the welds on the headers hold up you'll never have to get a new set, so what's done is done. Steel headers last ~10 years give or take a few depending on driving conditions and quality.

How about throttle pedal feel?
Yep u are right. Whats done is done and Im really happy with them. Look and sound great too! I had them install a radiator and wire an e fan at the same time. The controller I provided was faulty per the shop so they wired it on high speed all the time so I need to get a controller wired in BC the fan is too loud right now.
To answer your question the truck woke up big time. Lots more power and torque. I buried the needle the other day on the back roads easily with no problem.
I'll add some pics of them on the truck here once it quits raining. Been raining and supposed to continue for a few days. The headers look real good on there. Already starting to have that blued look

What thickness were the flanges? That is SUPER important and they didn't even list that
The person I ordered from was clueless. I didn't measure but its thick. I can try to get a tape in there and measure if you want. Honestly if you have the ability to drill out the head bolt holes as needed I would recommend these. Can't beat $190 304 stainless steel. The welds, finish, egr hole, o2 bung etc all look and fit well besides the head bolt holes not lining up

How about calling them back and inform them that the bolt holes don't line up properly. How much did you have to open the holes up?

I honestly dont know. I'll ask the race shop. The person I bought the headers from didn't even speak or write clear English. U should see the box the headers came in. Literally had Chinese lettering on it
