This is my 1979 ford F150. This was my first vehicle , I have had it since 2008 and drove when I was in high school. Since then the truck sat in the back yard until last spring. What got me going to get it going again was the fact that my father is working on a 1979 ford bronco with the freewheeling package that he bought last summer. The other thing was a group of local guys that started a club, where we would meet once a month and talk about our trucks!

Welcome to FTE! Nice looking '79! I like that you've hung on to your first vehicle, so glad you reawakened it from it's resting spot, and are working on it again and enjoying it. Post up some more pics of it, and also some pics of your dad's Freewheeling Bronco, if he doesn't mind.

I see you removed the shin buster speaker boxes, ouch. It looks good, where did you locate you woodgrain overlay door panels?

the door panel trim came from a salvage yard in Denver Colorado. I am working on getting a set of "Lariat" Style inserts re upholstered to match.

So glad that you got those speakers the heck out of there!

I didn't hang onto the first car I drove, but I did hang on to the first car I bought on my own at 19, and I've never regretted it, then again it is a Mustang, who would regret that!?
