So you have found a Dana 60? Are the springs from the same truck available? That'd be your best bet.

the difference is between the 96-97 bolt on calipers and the older pin lock calipers.
the kingpin D60 uses the same brake parts as the D50 does, i have done quite a few swaps and used the D-50 brakes on the 60's because they were new and the 60 parts were worn out.

if the D60 comes from an old body F-350, grab the springs, steering linkage, pitman arm, track bar mount, and track bar.
this will give you all the parts needed to put it in your truck.
if you want to do the reverse shackle kit, you can do that with the OBS F350 springs.

I did mine in a few steps, swapped from the D50 to an all stock D60 front end.
Then later did the RSK (Check out precision metal fab's design too.) with superduty springs.
The draw back to the king pin is the brake differences. The plus is if you want to change to a high steer modification later, you can.
You did make sure your donor has the correct gear ratio?
Make sure you get the items TJC details…otherwise you will spend a lot of time and money chasing the pitman arm and the U-bolt bracket that goes under the driver's side. Expect $150 to buy/ship another U-bolt bracket.
You will likely change the stock pitman arm and track bar bracket, and an adjustable track bar is on my list of recommendations.
Unless you got a smoking deal on the king pin, my humble suggestion is to wait and find the matching year range as chasing parts for a multi year truck is a hassle.
Also, for the reasons TJC points out, you gain some spare parts and it makes the day of the swap shorter because you can address and brake caliper or longer lines before hand.
I found my correct year range axles, (front and back) with all of the needed items, with the correct gear ratio for $700. Just have to be patient and poised to jump.

Also- got all my new tie rods, and one caliper. The other should be in tomorrow. All that I need now is seals, and probably a couple bearings, assuming I can fab a track bar.
Working with a set of superduty mirrors after they come in to see if I can design a bracket to fit them on without blocking the vent window, too. Just thought it would be another cool addition.
