WEIRD ONE

Long story short. I purchased a set of southern doors. When I FINALLY got them lined up...
When I plugged the passenger side in the window went down without me pushing the button and now it won't come back up.
Drivers side is fine. Up and down np.
Up is better than down. So even if there's a way to get it back up. Ty

Sounds like a button is sticking. You could unplug the door, and run a jumper wire to to the motor to raise it back up. I would try messing with the buttons on both that door, and the driver first.

On a different not did the truck originally have power windows and locks? or did you have to wire this one up? I have an issue with my rear right door. The door automatically locks when ever it feels like it, and refuses to unlock most of the time. I have yet to mess with it. I figure its probably a broken wire shorting out in the harness.

Start with the drivers side window switch, as all power goes threw that switch first. Although I've never had your problem, mine was no response from the passenger side switch, put in a different drivers side switch, and all was good.

You have a broken wire. Very common. Peal back the jacket where it passes thru the door jam and you will see what I am talking about.

Do NOT splice the wire in the jam. Replace a section of it from inside the door to inside the B piller

Ok. Thanks for the replies.
Now even more weird!
So I was fooling around with the buttons on the drivers side.
The button that SHOULD control the up and down for the passenger side is controlling the power locks!?
And the button for the locks is not doing anything.

Sounds like your wires are backwards. Did you have to splice any wires, or did it just connect right up?

Looks like its time to break out the multi meter, and run some continuity and voltage tests. Do you have a wiring diagram for the doors?

I thought I had one on my computer, but as I checked yesterday I didnt see it.

I'm assuming its a CCLB truck. Did you replace all 4 doors, or just the front two?

Nope. I'm working on my regular cab.
I didn't mess around with any wires. Well under my hood I did. I removed my plow harness.
And also swapped out my steering column.

So rite now if I have my key turned back in a power position I can hear the motor making a clicking noise like every 10 seconds. (Without pressing and buttons)
So the first door I installed was the passenger side. Once I had it bolted up I plugged the harness in and the window went door all by itself (WITHOUT any power on) driver side door wasn't on yet.
Hope this helps....ty

It shouldn't matter but these doors came off a bronco.

Do as Diesel Brad suggests look in the door jam boot as the wires get stiff and break and can short causing intermittent weirdness. And as he noted splice a section in from outside the jam area (or you'll be doing it again in near future).
