73 f150 450$? Worth it ?

Hey guys my dentside family has grown. I have 2 76 highboys and a 77 f150. I was driving and saw this old blue 73 20 min from ware I live. I left a note on the truck and the guy called me. He wanted to sell it. I checked it out. It's all original. Has the chrome package. Has a 302 with headers. 3 on the tree. It isn't that rusted. He doesn't have it running at the point. What do you guys think. Buy it as a parts truck for my 76 work truck. Or daily it? Is it worth 450? I don't have a pic currently.

It cannot be a 73 F150. No such thing.

$450? Sure.

9-inch axle: $150
Disc brakes $150
... that only leaves $150 remaining to be made up sheet metal. doors, wiring, glass, grill shells, bumpers, etc.

+1 on it being an F100. And yes I would go for it at $450. I'm not sure where you are located (I'm in southern Ohio). And around here it's nearly impossible to find one of these trucks that isn't totally rusted to pieces. In my experience you could recoup your purchase price by parting out the interior alone, assuming it's in decent shape. Or keep it and you'll have your own dent side parts store that is open 24/7. It's super handy having a parts truck sitting around

Pics. would be helpful. But at $450 you can't go wrong. And I'd say that it would depend on what all exactly it would take to get the truck running and made reliable to determine whether or not to use it as a driver or parts truck. It's a good thing that I didn't come across that deal for myself. Otherwise I'd at least be in the dog house with my wifey.

Where are you in NY? I can get the trailer hooked up but won't be able to get there until after the banks open on Monday.
