94 F250XLT, 4X4, 5 speed stick, 4:10 rear end, long bed, 7.3T IDI, 224,000 plus miles. About 11 mpg avg. Did my first real tune up last year with getting origional IP rebuilt and new injectors. Finding I have 2 cyclinders with wet compression at about 325 PSI and the other 6 at about 425 PSI. New glow plugs. and glow plug harness. T-stat, Water pump, 1 injector line and new return lines and fittings, fuel lift pump, Ferret meter and timing light, Compression guage. Did all the labor myself. (With the exception of rebuilding the IP!) Still happy with mine. Bought it used with 47,400 miles on the od. in 97.

@ TJC Transport; Traded my Tan and white 65 F250 that started life with a 352 V8 and 4 speed stick. (Had a 427 when I traded it.) OD had stopped working about 10 years before, when it was on the 3rd trip around.

i just noticed that i forgot to add the 65 is a falcon.
my 66 7 litre on a good day gets 7 mpg. but that has a 428, close ratio top loader 4 speed and 3.0 gears in it.
and it will do 165 on radar with more to go.
my 88 7.3 with C6 trans, 4.10 gears, 37 inch tires, and banks turbo gets around 15 around town with the junk fuel they are selling these days. back when we could buy real diesel it was getting 18-19 general driving and 22-23 on the highway with cruise set at 55.

Will have to look up the threads on deletes but I guess I'll lose even more mpg's due to long warm ups when temps start to drop to ) or below.
