Frustrated... 95 f150 steering problems

Alrighty here's the deal... I have a 1995 f150 4x4 that pulls to the right hard and when I push on the brakes it pulls harder. I JUST replaced all the bearings up front, upper and lower ball joints, radius arms, and will be replacing the axle pivot joints ASAP. Someone pleaseeeee help me I'm at wits end!

P.s. It does have a leveling kit with adjustable camber bushings
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like brake issues. When it pulls right when you push the brakes, then the left Front is not applying.

Definitely sounds like a brake issue. Sounds like a frozen piston in the caliper stuck pads.

Check your front tires real well also. I had 2 Coopers (at different times) that formed huge lumps and affected my steeeing like that.
The star adjusting wheel on my '65 also came apart inside the brake drum and did the same thing.

Swap your front tires side to side and see if the pulling changes, make sure a quality shop is doing your alignments,

Have you had an alighnment after the front end work? If it's not a brake problem(and with no heat coming from right front after 15 minutes of driving, I doubt it is) then it kind of narrows it down to an alignment issue or steering gear box. Braking can magnify the problem. Check tie rods and pitman arm for play. Also check pitman arm for cracks, this may involve some degreaser. Check steering gear box bolts to make sure they are tight. If everything looks good, take it in for an alighnment check. But no use doing the alighnment if you have any of these other problems that may need attention first.

I think my passenger side is out of line. And I've replaced all the tie rods except for the main drag link the connects to the pitman arm and it is still in great shape.. I'll take it to the local ford dealer for an alignment and see what happens! Thank you all!

It could be that the passenger side brake caliper is hung up or and the drivers side is not working properly. Sounds more like a brake issue to me but without driving it or looking at it, it is just my best guess.

After 15 miles of driving, I'd expect both sides to be relatively close to the same temp, and that temp would be warm enough to feel.

If you have a temp gun, that makes it easy to know for sure, but if the front driver brake and rotor is not warm, that makes me think that the driver front brake is not working the way it should.

How would that make it pull going down the road when not braking? I would understand if it was only during braking.

It could be both the alignment and a brake issue

Because the pads still glide over the rotors, even when not braking, and can create a bit of drag. If there is zero drag on the driver side, and a tiny amount of drag on the passenger side, it will pull to the passenger side. This can be especially true if the rotors are warped to any degree.

But without seeing exactly what is happening, all anyone on a forum can do is throw guesses. You're either going to have to investigate it further, or have a shop look at it for you.
