Tow mirrors dodge or chevy?

Tow mirrors dodge or chevy?
Ive seen alot of the dodge and chevy tow mirrors on our obs fords threads. The issues I keep seeing on them is that if u want the dodge mirrors your passenger side view is blocked by the vent window seal. Unless u wanna put the tow mirrors up at all times so everyone knows ur boyfriend likes the way they look. Or you wanna put them further back and not be able to use the vent window, or you can put them in place of the stock mirror and it look god awful. I havent seen any writeups on the chevy tow mirrors that clearly state weather or not you have to modify the base and drill and tap to get them on ours. Has anyone been able to do a successful dodge mirror install, be able to use the vent window, and see out of the passenger side window? Also anyone have a good writeup on the 03-07 install? How much of your vision is truly hindered in the passenger mirror, on the dodges?
Is it maybe possible to add a lip/spacer on the front end towards the hood so that it creates an angle and gets them further back and closer to the truck. That way u can see the full mirror with the dodges.
I have the tiny power ones right now, changing lanes on the passenger side is just a crap shoot. While towing the camper I normally turn my blinker on and very slowly start moving over, and just hope theres noone there.
I cant do the stock tow mirrors that came with our truck, Im just not a fan of the look and how they always rattle loose and move your view.

You and me both lol I will am interested to see what you find out as well I am going to change my mirrors over as well. I've seen civics with bigger mirrors than mine
I also do about the same thing changing lanes with a trailer I cant see around. I'll leave my blinker on for a bit then slowly start to move over.

I'd be interested in a write-up and/or pictures. I was thinking the Chevy mirrors would work style-wise and not have the blind spot of the Dodge mirrors. I also like the way the Chevy/Ford setup extends as opposed to flipping out.
FWIW, I just have west coast mirrors on my truck. They don't rattle at all. Really big view. The downside is that they don't collapse. So bank lines, drive thrus, etc are out.
