Hey guys, im leavin tomorrow w a buddy, were renting a car to drive 9 hrs from st.louis to niles ohio to pick up a 99 E450 ambulance w about 120,000 miles on it. Weve been told its well maintained and runs great, knowing some of the history i believe this to be true.

However, i think it would be a good idea to put a bag of tools together to have with us just in case something does happen.

Wondering if anyone would have any suggestions for things to toss in a tool bag. Or maybe even some simple parts or items that could be used for a quick back on the road fix.

AE or some type of scanner that will read our trucks. Wrenches, sockets, fuel filter, CPS and look at the Best map on Tugly's page to find out where some fellow fte brothers are along the wayback in case you need extra help.

 

I would say a good socket set, zip ties, a couple hose clamps, maybe even buy new radiator hoses to be safe, multimeter, test light, spare fuses, fuel filter, cps, serpentine belt, spare fluids. That's just a quicky list. I am sure I missed some stuff.
