Folks - I'm scheduling this year's get-together for either the 1st or 2nd weekend in October, meaning either the 3rd or 10th. So, I need your input on which of those works better for you. Please advise ASAP.

And, as usual, it'll be at my place in Skiatook.

I vote for Oct. 3rd.

 

I could probably do either one, so I'll go along with everyone else.

 

I could probably do either but for some reason prefer the 3rd right now, I guess because it's closer to the warmer weather and October = the beginning of Winter (it has almost always snowed at least once before Halloween).

 

Ok, so far two votes for the 3rd and one for "whenever".

Chris - At first I thought the idea of snow in October somewhat bizarre, but I forgot that you have to drive back to Coldorado and might hit snow. Makes sense.

Let's leave this open for a week or so to see if someone can't come on the 3rd, but that's sounding good.

 

The 3rd would be better for me, the fall throwdown race is the 9th and 10th. Hopefully we will be burning some nitro if we don't tear something up before then.

 

Third would probably work for me. Unsure of my travel schedule for October at the moment.

 

I am busy every saturday in October except the 17th so looks like I am not going to make it to this years meet as well.

 

Ok, it has been almost a week and all that can come say the 3rd is best. So, the 3rd it is!!! Please make your calendars.

It is so official Janey has a ticket to fly to St Louis to see the kids that weekend. No going back now.

 

Is she leaving a breakfast casserole behind?

 

She just said, while laughing, "I'll leave a breakfast casserole and, hopefully, a lot of other things." One that was mentioned was plenty of brownies. Another was the dish she calls Mexican Chicken, probably for Friday evening. And, there's Mac's for BBQ, maybe Saturday evening.

And, for those who don't have to get away early Sunday, maybe we can go out on the boat Sunday afternoon.
