I will mark the calendar. I should have the jet boat up and going by then if we make a trip to the lake. Of course it's ford powered.

 

That would work if we go on Sunday afternoon. Our boat is in Cross Timbers, so that's easy. But, it is Chebby powered - 6.2L.

 

48° this morning... snow coming soon...

 

It is 64 here now with a high of 68 today and a low tonight of 56, after having just had a spectacular lightning show early this morn. That low of 56 tonight will probably set a new record low for August. But, the temp is supposed to go back up to 90 for Saturday. However, that is very mild for Okiehoma in August, which fits as this has been an usually mild summer. I think we've hit 100 once, and I remember other summers hitting 100 for 14 days consecutively and have even seen a max of 114.

So, October 3rd isn't likely to have snow here, but it could be cool. Or, it could be a hot Indian Summer day. Who knows? Certainly not the weatherman.

Yup. And we set a record low last night. But tomorrow it'll be up to 90 and we are going to the lake. If you don't like the weather in Oklahoma just wait 15 minutes.

Had the air on in the car, and stopped at Walmart. Discovered it was cooler outside than inside. Fall, here we come!
