When my wife called today and asked if her fender was made of fiberglass I just knew something was up.... Turns out the sonic drive through won a battle with the drivers fender of her 2010 mountaineer. Now I know from owning a corvette how tedious fiberglass repair can be, especially when you want paint to stick, and black paint at that... So I am buying a new fender and will have it matched and install it myself. I can't see any visual differences between my 04 and the 2010 fender, however some sites list them as fitting 2002-2010 and some break down by 3rg gen and 4th gen. Who is right? Do they interchange with minor differences to the cladding holes? Thanks!

 

I ordered one that says it will fit and has a good return policy so we shall see.
