How to install new side cargo door cables, E150 cargo base
I'm perplexed. I've visited three body mechanics today to replace the latch cables purchased from Napa for the side door. $45 later I can still not open from the inside. The mechanic just left the cable attached at one end only, took my money and sent me on my way.
I've searched and searched for a picture or drawing to find where the cable from the inside handle attaches to the latch. I find nothing. One body mechanic suggested that there must be a piece missing from the latch. Another said come back tomorrow and it will take 45min to do it. I plan to go back to him, but if something is missing I want to know before I go.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? 2002 E150 cargo. I can open from the outside, but not from inside.
Thanks so much!
