New sticks - Injectors- what ever you want to call them poll
So compression test came back good...
That leaves the following questions:
1. Stock
2. Stage 1 - what supporting mods will I need? I have 4" with 3" dp, and 6637
3. new
4. remand
5. other?
I do have an email into Jim at Rosewood... Hopefully the prices don't come back to high.
My goal is to pull a camper eventually, but mainly reliability, fuel mileage....

Thanks...looks like we are all evened up....I voted stock/new....
Given my compression numbers it almost like this truck is barely broken in at 230,000...although it looks like hell
I am sure some of the lower cylinders were due to loose injectors...some of the bolts seemed less than finger tight.

Bottom line: it's not enough of a drop to notice.
Depends on my driving style at the time. I can get close to stock by keeping the boost low, but it is hard not to get on it sometimes. Towing wise I still get right at 10 mpg with my 10,000 lbs 5th wheel. Unloaded I average 15 mpg in mixed suburban/rural driving. I do have a 4.10 rear end, which does not help in that regard.

Ok,
I was getting 17-17.5 before I took her down for this rebuild...
I think on my longer drives I can keep out of it...these short trips will kill me I know... heck I only get 14-22 out of my focus during the week but can get 33 on my weekend trips. I also have 4.10's but have been looking to replace it with a 3.73... I have thought about a camper not sure I would go that big though... I was thinking 6-8000lbs
Thank you, I appreciate the insight.
