2005+ Super Duty on 35"s with little or no lift?

How much lift does it take to properly fit 35" tires on a 2005+ Super Duty? I want to fit larger tires on one, but I don't want to raise the ride height too much, and I've always preferred the look of large tires with less lift.

If anyone's running a setup like this, how do you like it? Anyone have pictures of it?

You will rub the radius arm at stock height, most likely with a level aswell depending on your rim back spacing.

How much rub are we talking? I had the same problem with my Jeep on wider tires, but a 1" spacer fixed that problem.

Depending on what your rim backspacing is it could be nothing, it could be just the lugs for the side wall of a tire a full lock. Your wheel wells will clear 35" stock easily. Spacers would help give you that wide, low, full look your looking for

I'm running 325/65/18's and have a driver side rub at full lock. That is mainly because of my duraflaps.

I'm running these tires.

Here they are with the truck completely stock. No rubbing at all.

With 2" leveling kit installed:

With stock rim its possible. Aftermarket you will need a lift. Backspace gets you. 35x12.5 with 4.5 lift.No rubbing.

Ive seen guys with 99-03 SD's with 315/75/16s and only leveling kits with very little to no rub. That said wider rims or spacers are helpful. I have aftermarket rims on my truck and will be getting those tires along w a leveling kit.
