Looking to install fuel pressure gauge. How can I tie into my fuel rail?

Ps this is a permanent gauge so I need to mount a sending unit

My buddy who races a foxbody still runs FI and has a gauge on the cowl. I guess you need the adapter to screw into the schrader valve for 1/8" pipe fitting.

Something like this:

or better yet:

Thanks for the links. I'll have to look at them better when I get home. Pretty sure my sending unit is 3/8

3/8" npt? Wow, that seems pretty large. What brand?
I've seen some that come with an adapter for the 1/8" male to go up to 3/8" to fit larger holes.

Here is one from Autometer that is 1/8" npt.

My bad, it is 1/8"

Does anyone know where to get the -4an(female) to 1/8" pipe(female) adapter?

Thanks. But I have FMU that regulates fuel pressure with a secondary fuel pump so I don't think I need and adjustable regulator

The link was to show ways to mount the gauge sender and would apply to all fuel injector fuel systems.

Has anyone ever removed the schrader valve from the fuel line?

The automata adapter 3280 shows it is 1/6" NPT to 1/8" NPT but the Schrader valve has no hex to grab with a wrench. I don't want to go twisting it off with a pair of Vise grips if it is not designed to be removed and brake the fuel rail

My grandfathers was leaking, I replaced the whole valve. That was an 02' 4.6L. Just checked my 96' 5.8L and the whole valve is removable too. BUT both of those had a hex for a wrench on the valve, and I can clearly see the connection is threaded on my 96'.

What truck is this on? EDIT, just saw the other thread, 96' 460.

It is not removable on the 460 engine. At least on my 94 F53 and others have found out the same thing on other 1990's F53's.
I would think the F-series trucks are the same way.
