Virgin voyage today, cruise on 60 mph,a lot of down shifting but mostly stayed in third. It struggled and was very slow climbing hills. 35% DC, 2,600 ICP tops, 160 trans temp, 15 lbs boost, 8.5 mpg. All in all the OX did pretty good for being stock but can't wait for the power! Lol

I'm glad everything went well, Glenn. I was thinking about you yesterday. Enjoy your time up North and we'll see you down here in a few weeks.
Ya cant complain Glenn! Lol. Back when I had my IDIT, I couldn't pull my 25' 5er at 55 mph... On flat terrain with my foot set on the throttle "just right" itd keep 55. Any hill at all would slow it down. If it dropped into 3rd, Id actually lose speed. But I think that truck had issues. It got 11 mpg unloaded
Then there is the ugly...the whole issue that started this.
I don't believe the line should be that close to the intense heat of the up pipes any more than absolutely nessary. now that i am looking at it that line sure is longer than it really should have been. The bad spot up that far begs the question for me did ot rub up there on somethimg? Either way i dont believe they really thoughr that through for sale to the public.
The mock up oil line I built as a pattern for my turbo worked perfect.
Notice the 90° where the line comes up out of the plate and goes forward.
Oh, that's nice! That looks a LOT better. Is there any down side to having the hose longer? No oil flow considerations or anything?

It will be right for Glenn, his wife and chamios!
Having seen that hose and where it burst really makes me wonder as well whether it rubbed on something. If heat was the cause of the issue, I would have sure thought it would have blown apart down lower close to the up-pipes. The fact that it popped up top like that has me wondering if it was rubbing on the cowl or something.
At any rate, the design you came up with here is 10 times better than what he had before. That's the way it should have been in the first place,in my opinion.
I don't think a few inches longer will hurt a thing. Its a gradual bend and pressure is equal in the system. The fittings for the supply line will be in Wednesday. I will get two assemblies made up.
I didn't think the hole was that high up here, hmmmm! And yes, that's close to the up pipe! Your a genius Aaron! It's really different looking at my 'stuff' that was taken by someone else, LOL 👍
