EFI cam
Im thinking about putting a cam in my 92 f150. I havent seen much on a cam that works with the speed density in these trucks. Ive seen the Isky 256, Comp 252h and Crane 503901, but some say yes they will work then on another page someone else says they wont. Ive seen conflicting information as well. Ive read that a lsa lower than 114 wont work and somewhere else I read no lower than 112. So im asking here what cam will work with all stock valve springs and lifters or comes in a kit?(No head porting) OR is the best thing to do is to keep the stock cam and get chevy rockers and bump the timing?

I highly recommend speaking directly with a cam grinder who can answer your questions and give you the "Straight" on real expectations- even modify the cam grind to fit your needs.
IMHO Iskenderian is one of the best (who I personally know to this day physically tests/inspects every single valve spring before it leaves the shop). Crower & Chet Herbert & Lunati...all good as well although Crower has periodic issues with their new gen staff not being aware of specific specs for low production engines of history.
I would also avoid at all cost corporate type entities who typically operate production (and tech support0 in an “McDonald’s environment”.

That is a good alternative; in fact A Crower RV cam we installed had the same specs as a production cam only with about .050 more lift. So by increasing the RAR you get essentially the same effect.
