1984 F250 interior compatibility

I'm restoring (not to factory) an 84 F250 XL and I have searched the internet, to no avail, for the years and models that would help me replace the front and rear bench seats (matching bolt configuration). If I knew the range of years that they matched, it would make my salvage search go a lot smoother. I also have door panels, interior molding, dash and a head liner to replace as well if there are any ideas on those as well. Thanks in advance!

Moved to correct forum. You will find more info and help here. Just my personal preference, but I like LMC truck for finding parts like you mentioned.

As far as the front seat, for sure you can use 1980 - 1996 as bolt in [bench seats]. Rear seats get a little trickier, I believe.

I believe others have addressed this previously. Try using the "SEARCH" feature at the top of the page.

And I believe you can go to 1998 if you look at the f250/350's. They changed the f150's in 96, but kept the 250/350 the same till they changed in 1999.

The only 98 F250 is the goofy 7 lug overgrown F150, 97 is the end of the line for our chassis, however they were built quite late(a friend has a 97 MY by VIN F350 crew with a 1/98 build date) and the 99's were introduced very early.
Being this is a 250, I am going to assume extended cab. Pretty much any 80-96/7 ex cab donor will work for the front, my personal favorite is the 92-96 40/20/40 seat. For the rear, I think you can swap them as well. I'm a bit fuzzy on that though.

All bench seats from 1980-1996/7 will fit.

Now, for the crew cabs, the front bench seats had a built in lock that prevented the seats from folding forward.

The crew cab rear bench seats are exactly the same as a regular/extended cab front bench.

The floorpan on an ex cab is a little different, a bench swaps, but, buckets, and the 40/20/40 do not directly with reg cab stuff.

Are you talking about the newer trucks' 40/20/40? Because I have an 85 extended cab bench in my regular cab 84.

What do you mean by newer? the 40/20/40 did not come out until 94

they made 3 "different 40/20/40 seats

The reg cab and crewcab(4 doors) are interchangeable. The only difference between them is the crewcabs have map pockets and a rear ash tray. the reg cab have carpeted backs and no ash tray. They both bolt in with 4 bolts like a bench seat does

the SUPERCAB trucks 40/20/40 bolt in as 3 separate pieces. you set the center section in first then each outer seat. In inside foot of the outer seat overlaps the center section. Then 4 bolts per outer seat hold them down.

Bench seats from 80-96(and 97 F350HD and F350) all interchange. Does not matter if from Bronco, reg cab, supercab or crewcab

As for interchangeability, stick with 80-86 and you will be right on other the the slide locks on the 80 trucks door panels

Also, someone mentioned LMC(Likely Made in China), unless you want to cheap part that is poor quality and not very good fitting I would stay away from them. I suggest looking into NPD(National Parts Depot), Bronco Graveyard, Blue Oval parts and Dennis Carpenter
