Two-wheel drive lift recomendations

I have a 2002 V-10 2WD Excursion and I am wanting to do a 4-5" lift and change out the wheels and tires...for appearance and better ride purposes. I was asked about "suspension" currently on her. Standard on these models is rear axle and front is independent? Any suggestions across the board? I have seen mostly 4WD on this thread. Thank you.

ProComp offers a 6" that allows for 35's and rides pretty nice, Razzi has it on his 7.3 and I didn't have any complaints when I drove it.

You are correct on the 2wd, but it's not technically an IFS setup - it's a twin beam.

Somebody recently swapped in a set of coils and leafs from a newer Super Duty but it didn't provide the amount of lift you're after. The suspension can't really just be spaced down like a standard leveling kit due to the requirements for drop brackets and whatnot for the suspension type.

I cut your post from the very old thread you posted in.

Since you're new to how forums work, it's always better to start your own thread and ask for help instead of posting in another persons thread and hijack it, especially when the thread is years old.

Wow, I didn't even catch that and I usually do...

No harm no foul Traditionole, this thread may be helpful for you if you're not familiar with the online forum community in general
