07 head lights and brake lights

I have an opportunity to get some 07 aftermarket (halo) headlights and brake lights at a very good price and was wondering if they will work on my L99 with out having to convert the front end? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gilbert

Why not??? Your going to have to trim the fiberglass header panel to fit the head lights which isn't hard. The tail lights are the same. In 08 and up they swapped the reverse light on top and the brake light down below the only thing you would have to do is extend the reverse light wire and get a different plug, but the 07 is identical all the way down to 99.

These are 07 headlights on my E99 with original grill and bumper.

I don't like how you gave up hope so quickly, I hope you come back and decide to go through with it. The upgrade looks great, somethings I've been dying to do since my lenses arent even clear they're "fluted?".

Check this link out, 05-07 Harley Headlight Install

Gentlemen, I'm sorry. I only got notices of 2 replies on my email. The pics didn't show on my phone. Anyway those look very nice.

I had looked on you tube and it seemed like I had to cut out a lot of stuff to make the lights work and I don't have the time and budget to do an 05-07 conversion. If there is a simple way to make it work post some pics or refer me to another thread. The deal with the lights fell through. I was going to buy the back lights but I lost out on that as well. No biggie there will be other deals. Thanks for all the input.

It really was not a difficult install. The lights came with an adapter harness so no wiring issues, I had to buy new bulbs. Pulling the old light was a couple of screws removed per light and they came right out. Even trimming the header panel was easy with a dremel tool and cutting disk. I was conservative trimming the panel and did lots of small bites at the apple rather then going all out in one pass. It took less than 4 hours to complete. That includes the rear tailights, and new covers for the clearance lights on the cab.

I want to upgrade the lights on mine as well. Since I will be replacing the tranny cooler down the road would doing the lights at that time make it easier since I will have some of the front end off any way?
