good afternoon Maine.im thinking about gearing up for another camping/hiking adventure.

 

Hope everyone's weekend is going well. More heat on the way!

it's another camping/hiking adventure.this weekend take a stroll with me to Newry Maine!




several little hike/sites with one main hike.we begin with a Saturday evening walk in the Grafton Notch park, after i pitch my tent at the campground with plenty of time to check out "step falls" before i rest up for Sundays adventure.

into the great Maine woods we go:

have a seat and enjoy the serenity of it all:

up we go:

look how the water flows down the mountain side with such grace!

step falls,rightfully named:

enjoyed the view,then went back to the campground for the night.

 

now i did the main hike first,followed by these little ones.however i'll leave that to grand finale.for now,lets first visit a little stop down the road called: "mother walker falls"

 

next up lets drive down the road a little further and stop at a little trail with a very long cave,called "moose cave". sure,these little stops are a bit touristy but who cares!

 

ok whats this? another "screw auger falls" like 2 weekends ago (if you saw that camping/hike,also posted here in the Maine chapter) up in Greenville? well not quite deja vu though,as this ones clearly different (not as nice at the one in Greenville is it? but shh,we wont tell the tourists'. ) still a pretty little place on earth;

 

ok guys are you ready for it? did ya pack lots of drinks? this ones a real climb.we'll break it up into two climbs so you don't get too exhausted (ok,really because i can only post 10 pics per posts but it sounds good lol!) ok then,if your all ready to go.hop back in the car.....'er pretend we've got the truck (sounds more manly than driving my little 4 cyl honda lol!)

ladies and and not so gentle men,i present "table rock trail" for this Sunday mornings main adventure.so without further ado,put on your hiking shoes and lets climb!
