Basic Question

I have a 72 F-100 with a 2V 289 from a 67 Bronco currently in it. I am gonna rebuild or replace. I have found a complete 2V 1970 351 W and I'm considering purchasing it for the replacement. Should everything be a direct swap? I am hoping to have the replacement engine built and ready before I pull the 289. I know they are both small-block but just don't want any surprises if I can avoid them.
Thanks in advance.

The 351 is a different block than the smaller 289/302 but they are in the same engine family and all use the same engine mounts and belhousing bolt pattern so it will swap right in there.

Your exhaust will likely need to be modified, especially if your using a Y pipe. But nothing major.
