If everything works out, I'm going to try to come up Wednesday. Actually, if RC goes with me, that would help. I'm going to need a second driver for the trip home. (foreshadowing)

Good evening all, Alan saved my tail yet again and didn't belittle me on here for my mistake, so I gained some new respect for him this weekend/today lol
Long story short....my motor /transmission is finally together and now installed for good in the 79 Explorer. I am thrilled beyond typing. It's a good day when stuff gets done on a dent. Thanks Alan.

i found something strange about the engine i was working on yesterday in the 1982 4x4.. the engine in it is a 1971, 302... i bought the truck from a guy in arkansas a few years ago... way back in 1987 i sold the 302 engine from my bump "ole rip" to a guy from arkansas... wouldn't that be a kick if it was the same engine.. ha ha ha ha

Getting ready for my drive to Joplin. Yes, I'm still on the bench.

Maybe I can get some paint supplys for the dash of the 79 Explorer today. I took out the dash to make it easier.

Good Morning Everybody!

Well, one person backed out of deal I was working on. As long as nobody else does, I should still be good for Wednesday. ...Cross your fingers.
