Cab lights on my half ton

Yay or nay?

Trying to do something different and thought about installing some smoked lights on my truck.

Also, how much does the install suck fishing the wires through?

I've looked at that before, it looks generally pretty basic and easy, just time consuming.

And as far as the "don't care" comment, I just don't want someone to look at it and think I'm trying to look like I have a 1 ton when I don't. I just like the way they look.

It is your truck do what you want! (phew kept that to where the mods didn't have to fix it) Sorry for substance to the post.

F150s came with cab lights from the factory so I don't know what you are saying.

My "snotty" comment was other people like to run their mouths when they should just keep them shut(they think wally world has quality automotive parts). Don't go buying the cheap Aftermarket LMC and Pacer brand stuff. Get yourself the Lights I showed the link to and get the harness from either Ford or the junk yard

yeah im confused by that one myself.the cabs from f150-450 were all the same including the cab lights when equipped.so adding them to any of the cabs wont make it look like just the f350's.

Since the marker lights are on;y required on trucks over a certain width, they do tend to be an F-250 / F-350 thing since those ate the trucks more likely to have an 8' wide flatbed, or box body mounted on them. So I can see where the "not trying to look like a 1 ton" thought comes from. But I agree with the later posts, it could have been that way anyway, and even if not, it's your truck.

Can you get clear lenses and then use yellow LEDs, then they would match my clear corner markers,

Didn't know f150s came with them. I'll definitely do quality though if I do it though.

Thanks for the input.

My dad's 82 F150 had them stock. Then he added a Lund Moon Visor, but never hooked up those lights. They don't look out of place on a F150, I think.
