my water pump went out
#16
I looked on Diesel Site and they sell the whole kit.. I need just bottom hose and maybe tstat..
got a IH pump from friend that got one to change out his on 7.3 and decided to sell truck.. OEM pump as not bad just had a bunch of miles on it.
guess i can get the NAPA hose and do the shim thing like was shown, IH local parts place will have the tstat..
Was looking at the billet housing to change out and was going to get lower hose / 205 tstat as well if i could and not to pricy.
It looks like they only do upper hose not lower.. i have a gates hose that goes around alt now.. guess i will just get billet housing after check my old to see it condition.

Couple notes here...
1. If you're going to ELC, check the SN on the Engine Drivers Side Valve Cover. It needs to be greater than SN: 940614. Navistar completely re-sealed all the engine with updated materials that will tolerate the HOAT.
2. My Water Pump lasted 176k Miles. But, keep the system serviced and check SCA's semi-annually.
3. Here are some part references:
a. Thermostat (OEM Part #F6TZ-8575-EA)
b. Thermostat housing (OEM Part# F81Z-8592-AA)
c. Upper radiator hose that goes around serpentine belt (OEM Part# F81Z-8260-CA)
d. Lower Radiator hose (OEM Part# YC32-8286-CE)
e. Engine Coolant Overflow Hose OEM: F81Z-8075-AA (Hose on bottom of 8A080 to Lower Radiator Tank)
f. Degas bottle cap (OEM Part# F6DZ-8100-A)
g. New coolant filter (if you've added one)
h. Heater Hoses which look to be in disrepair
I. Any hose clamps that you feel should be replaced.
3. I personally use the 203*F Thermostat installed by Navistar. Ford uses the 195*F in their contract.
Hope this helps some.

Either way, neither an OAT or H-OAT coolant is recommended for the E99 engines.
