Morning fellas. Man I have been soo busy lately with the new house lol. Just got done mucking out the chicken coop and decided I'm done for the day. We are at the highest threat level for smoke right now and it is killing my allergies!

Last night I hung out at my brother's place and he invited over a couple of his coworkers /fellow swat officers. It was a blast. They were great guys.

And finally today marks the one year anniversary of my motor cycle accident. It has been a long and painful year. And every day still sucks as far as pain goes, but I love that I have my house now and I get to raise my boys out in the country where I was raised. But it's still rather difficult to make it thru a day without serious pain.

How's the knee doing pat?

Good morning Idaho! Micah, glad to hear things are going well with the new Casa! Sucks about the smoke, though. You can tell it's made it down here, really affects the sunsets.

Knee is doing well, thanks for asking! Still gets swollen every now and then, especially if I'm just standing on it.

Good to hear it's doing well. My left ankle that I shattered in my accident is always swollen, but gets worse when I do too much during the day, and bruises more.

So I had to snap a quick pic the other day of my truck in its new home lol.

Morning pat, thanks. Hopefully one day soon I can park the truck in the shop lol. That is if my dad ever gets his stuff out of it so I can put all my stuff away

That would be awesome to have a shop that close. Can you go straight from the house to the shop? Is it heated?

Yeah it's covered too, the walkway. It is heated by a propane furnace right now, but I'm planning on plumbing in a wood stove this fall

Nice! I'd kill for a heated garage!

Pay just buy a propane heater from harbor freight or something. It's better than nothing. I used to heat my old garage with a small heater that fit on top of a 5 gallon propane tank and it did quite well

Problem is venting. I have no way to vent the fumes out. And, with the wife parking in there, it's a PITA in the winter trying to heat it, with her going in and out!

Do you have vinyl siding? There are easy ways to vent if so.

Yeah we do. I do have a 240V heater that I bought last year that works okay. What I really need to do, is to plastic off the one bay of the garage, that would make things much easier!

Yeah it would lol

Just got done checking my trailer camera, I set it up yesterday and I had about 400 pics on there! Most were just deer butts, or nothing really lol. But I did see a couple nice little bucks.
