I have a stiction issue, going to add hotshot secret stiction to oil. Question

I'm 1000 miles from my oil change, should I add it now or add it to the fresh oil change?

Thanks.

I prefer to add it to a fresh oil and filter change of T6.

Just something to keep in mind it probaly took months for stiction to develope. It will not cure right away. It may take some time to get really noticeable results. Do not get discouraged.

I think you would get better results with Archoil 9100, as I did.

Correct....

Lubrication specialties guarantees it'll cure stiction, however, it does take time, 4,000 miles or so.

Also consider running their fuel additive Diesel Extreme. This does an amazing job of cleaning the fuel side of the injector. I recently used two heavy doses of it to remove some deposits and after a recent Power balance test with FICM compensation off 7 out of the 8 passed with flying colors. (#2 had to be replaced).

Hot shot's products will clean up the oil and fuel side of the injectors, but it'll take a whole lot of flooring and highway driving.

This.

HSS did nothing for me. Archoil results were immediate.

That's actually the difference between the two.

Archoil is immediate and HSS takes time to work, but it does work. If for some reason it doesn't, you get your money back.

I've used both with success on my trucks and customer vehicles.
