Are you sure it hasn't had a Cummins swap???

JK, that is great! I only have 110K on mine, and I believe I have one of the good ones!!

Mine turned 10 years old on 7/28, but runs like a top, even with a failing injector at 188K.

You really can't go wrong with these trucks, you just have to take care of them and they will drive like there's no tomorrow. I love mine to death and would happily buy another 6.0 without question.

262k on my '05. 3 egr coolers, 1 egr valve, 1 oil cooler, 2 injectors, 1 turbo and 1 radiator. Bought it about 6 years ago with 70k +/-. I've driven it all over the country, put lots of miles on it. I'm not exactly a maintanence freak, oil changes and trans fluid changes on schedule, everything else on the squeaky wheel plan, if it aint broke I don't fix it. I was shooting for 500K but after reading about that '03 maybe 600k isn't out of the question.

Not to derail the thread, but you live in Texas like me, which means your EGR valve and cooler aren't required for emissions.

The cat along with the EGR cooler that held together and didn't rupture on the 700 mile drive home, were deleted not long after I got home.

I live in Texas but often I work out of state for perlonged periods. I don't want to find myself in a bind if I have an out of state breakdown. The last egr cooler is a BPD so maybe that'll be the last one. Also now I keep an eye on the oil/coolant delta if that helps.Sorry!
