Good call Benny. I have seen a mis-configured gauge give a similar reading as well (just something to check).

But the truck thinks it has high oil pressure if that value is what the PCM is seeing
And if it wiring problem unplug won't help it
Also we could be chasing the wrong system
However you have classic HPO system symtoms

Ok just tested the pigtail KOEO with a hand held voltage meter. It reads 5.1. Without the key on it reads .4

That's your problem if you did it correct
I would have to check a wire diagram to be sure
Let me check mine right now key off never checked it that way

That reading is a bust anyway you look at it
