8' Bed?

Are they being made yet? No dealer within 75 miles or so has anything on the lot.
Like to have a SCab, with the 8' bed.

Dealers don't seem to like to stock the longer beds (e.g. the 6-1/2' bed on the crew cabs). Back when we started looking, there just weren't any long bed choices in dealer inventory. So we just had to bite the bullet and order what we wanted.

You may have trouble getting a special order in at this late stage in the year. Come September, the 2015 F-150 will be last year's news.

Good luck. There isn't a RC 8' bed showing within 300 dealers of me. Ford has a great truck and will be ahead long term, but production this year is tough for fleet type units.

I've not seen one around here. But, I hope you can find one. Come on in, the water's fine.

I had heard that Claycomo wasn't coming on line with the '15's, until July sometime.

I was able to order my 2011 SCab, with an 8' bed, in the middle of August, came in last week in September.

You missed ordering the '15s already. If you want to do a factory order for a 163" wb (8' bed Super Cab) you'll have to get a '16. Ford had a frame shortage this year.

8ft bed

I ordered a 2015 F-150 Lariat Super Cab 4x2 8ft bed 2/14/2015, no word yet if it or when it would arrive. Spoke with the dealer a couple weeks ago and they said if I chose to wait to order the 2016 in a few weeks I would not have to cancel my order for the 2015. they would just put it on the lot to sell. Will more than likely miss out on any of the year end discounts promised.

Linc, Normally I go to bat for dealers, but if you haven't heard from them much info in almost 6 months you may want to press them. Unless you were trying to have the order held until towards the end of the year for max rebates, I think that timeline is a bit excessive.
