I picked up a 97 crown victoria intercepter yesterday. The tires on it scary bad and 220/60r15.

I have a spare set of 235/75r15 tires. Will they fit without rubbing until I can afford the correct size?

 

Update I got the tire shop to put my spare truck tires on the back wheels. They fit no rub. The shop refused to switch out the front wheels.

No biggie in a week when my payday hits I'm planning ti get the correct size.

 

220/60/R 15 = 25.4 x 8.7 X 15
235/75/R 15 = 29 X 9 X 15
they are around 3 1/2 inches taller.
but they should work as long as you do not make full lock turns.

 

Thanks. A week from today the paycheck will be in so I am going to get new ones on it then in the correct size. In the the meantime I am hoping the old tires on the front holds.
