Intake question

I have a 77 F250 with the 351M. I want to switch to a 4 barrel carb and aluminum intake. What intake do I get? Non egr or egr, any specific brand, and what's the best intake/carb combination to get with a stock motor? I should say it looks as though all the emissions stuff has been removed from the truck.

Edelbrock 2171 if you don't have to pass an emissions inspection ..

You guys are fast! 😜 Does it come with a new baffle for underneath or do you use the old one or get rid of it?

The 351M/400 intake gasket (That you'll order $45 .00 from Rock auto) comes with the baffle built into it ..

Another option is a Weiand Action Plus 4V intake, PN 8010 ($213 from Summit) which costs about $70 less than the Edelbrock.

Pair it with a 4V, vacuum secondary carb like the Eddy 1406, a Holley 4160, or even Summit's house-branded 600 cfm carb. The latter is about $290... $50 less than the Eddy or Holley.
