'63 F-100 wiring problem

Sorry if this is confusing but I"m trying to get used to this whole forum thing. So my '61 works fine except for my driver side turn signal, and it only acts up when i use the brakes or have my lights on. Basically it'll work fine when no other lights are in use on the driver side, but the moment you turn headlights, park lights, or step on the brake the driver side turn signal sticks on. Not flashing or anything it just lights up and stays on and my turn signal will no longer flash. I'm relatively competent with cars but I'm not so great with wiring so I'd appreciate some help

Man im no expert on the wiring for these, but because it flashes and stops when anything else goes on....id start by looking for any off looking/hack job wiring, then id suspect a bad ground. Anywhere that grounds needs to be clean and solidly connected.

Look in the turn signal switch. They are notoriously bad, and you can still get them from Ford. They used them for years after our trucks. You can also get them from several after market places.

This switch has been obsolete for...at least...20 years. Prior to 1973, there is no T/S switch available from Ford for any year truck.

C3TZ-13341-B .. T/S Switch / Obsolete

Applications: 1963/64 F100/250 2WD

FEYER FORD in Edenton NC has 1 = 252-482-2144.

NOS PARTS SOURCE in Olathe KS has 1 = 913-220-5746.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

No other Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

x2. I had a similar issue recently with my emergency flashers. After spending hours tracing all my wiring it ended up being a bad ground.
