O.k.; I've looked through the archives for almost 3 hours and couldn't find an answer to my question. The truck hasn't been started for about 3wks but kept on battery monitor/trickle charger. Today I used it for the first time, started right up, all dash lights came on and eventually went out as usual, except, about a second later the ABS light came on and stayed on. Had no issues driving it about 35 miles round trip. No dragging, no noises, no issues whatsoever. I started checking fuses but that doesn't seem plausible because then there would be NO light, correct? So what else or where else do I need to check next to fix? Got a long trip scheduled in two days and would like to resolve this ASAP! Any help appreciated.

 

First thing to check would be the brake fluid level. Mine will come on once in awhile but the next time I start the truck it is out.

Brake fluid level will turn on the RED brake warning light, not the YELLOW ABS light.

 

O.K., guys---stopped at autoaone and guy there was really helpful. My code reader doesn't read abs codes but this guy used his own and found left front sensor was dead. Thanks for help and suggestions to all.
