Chip, and buy more insurance while you are at it.

installing a "chip" is the only way I personally know of. I use an Edge Evolution Engine programmer. If I would have researched a little better before buying it I would have gotten a Gryphon, basically it's a modded Edge, you can have more custom tunes installed and it is just a better deal all around. Now I need to find a time they are not busy so I can send my Edge in and have it upgraded. I turned up both the rev limiter and the speed limiter, you don't really turn off the limiters. I have mine set to 200 MPH and it has not kicked in yet!

Be careful though, the limits are there for both your safety and the engines. I don't know for sure when you will scatter a 5.4 but it's north of 6000 RPMs....

120 is not gonna happen with a 4.6 and a full size pickup. Get a Mustang or a Corvette or even a CVPI. You will also live longer if you have to stop or turn in an emergency situation.

If you drive it off a cliff, the speed limiter is not operable

I thought it should get 120. My 1979 f100 351m will get that.

120+ in a pickup? Why the hell would you want to do that?
