I have an 1986 ford f-250 diesel....6.9 liter....and i have added a fuel pump to the fuel lines myself for extra pressure, and the problem is the injector pump....i am getting fuel to the injector pump with plenty of pressure...but it is not going through the injector pump to the injectors...now the way that this injector pump is set up, is that there is a switch which turns the pump on and off, but it is on the inside of the pump housing and i am not sure if it is the switch or something mechanically wrong with the pump...but fuel is definately not going to the injectors...thus my truck won't start...it looks like the switch is on the inside so only a specialized mechanic who rebuilds the injector pumps can mess with it...what should i do?
