95 f350 steering twisting with Death Wobble
On my truck every thing was fine untell she started giving me really bad death wobble at 35 mph. Didnt hit a bump or anything. So i limped it home and had my girl turn the wheel back and forth and the linkage was twisting as she turned it left and right. The truck is lifted on 37. I think i need a new tie rod. But is there a better fix for this ? and am i looking in the right spot

Google "tie rod roll", you'll find a lot. Mine has it too and I suspect all OBS F350s (and F250s that had been converted to a D60) have this.
The drag link from the pitman arm connects to the front of the tie rod. So, as the drag link pushes and pulls left and right, it also lifts and lowers the tie rod. Lift the truck and this is exaggerated.
Other than redesigning the steering, rotate each end of the tie rod (at the wheels) the opposite direction so they 'lock' against each other. I leave a few degrees of slop as the wheels don't steer perfectly in line with each other.
About the death wobble….do you have a track bar installed? If not, why not? (Not scolding, just asking.)

Ok I see what ur saying I'll try that. Because it never did it before untell after I replaced my steering box. And yes I do have one. She's a little loose but not bad. I just replaced the drag link and she still twists. Not as bad tho but still wobbles. I'll try your idea tho right now I'm in the shop working on it. Thanks

Ok I'll check it out some more. And the tires seem even. I spun them around a few times and didn't see or feel any out of roundness ? It feels like death wobble wile running over wash boards in the front end. And it's really hard to stop the truck when its doing it. Just tryn to give more clues to the puzzle cus everything is tight and straight
