A quick look at Rock Auto shows that a 95 amp alternator was standard and has a 5-1/8" diameter case. The 130 amp unit was optional and has a 5-5/8" diameter case, so one way to tell what you've got would likely be to measure the case diameter of the alternator that's on there.
There are also photos of the 2 units on Rock Auto and there are some different features/indents in the casting, so that might be another way to ID what you have.
Yo George, thank you for the great info, makes it much easier to ID the current alternator and see what options i have, the car audio system and other components is growing to the point i will need more available current in the near future..
A bit late with this reply but I've had great success with NAPA's new alternators, 140 amp rating as I recall. They'll run you about $200 but lifetime guarantee, full replacement, not pro-rated.
