Just got home from Southern California and gas was well over $4.00 per gallon and diesel was under $3.00. WTF? I should have taken my truck but drove my little cramped Subaru to save money. Had I have known....

South Jersey diesel @ $2.34 & regs @ $2.45.
Wish I could lock in at this price for the next 50 years. Then again maybe it will get down to $0.85 again.

Only 3,000 gallons? That's not even half a semi trailer...

Luckily it was only down a bit

In reality, it just came back from the Bahamas off charter so, client gets to pay for it.

How big of a yacht?

What does the fuel consumption for a rig like that look like?

My in-laws have a 75 ft Hatteras and the fuel consumption was tens of gallons per MILE. It was cheaper to fly on an Islander's tiny plane between Rum Cay, Bahamas and San Salvador, Bahamas than to take the boat round-trip.

It was great to listen to the two diesel engines at speed though....
