Fender exit exhaust

please send pics of exhaust route. I have fender exit headers coming this week and would like to get some good ideas on how to run the pipes.

I was most interested in seeing the exhuast exit. Either in front of or behind the tire. However, I decided to go in front of the tire. Hope to have it all tacked up tomorrow. Then I can post up some pictures for future crazy people like us that restore these old trucks.

Bud, those are awesome, but I bet you are going to ask to much for that quality work!

Help me decide. I can either route the exhaust straight and level from the headers or upwards some what.

Notice in the "level" pic that they'll be the lowest thing on your rig?

Guess what happens when you scrape the underside of your truck... those header bolts will get some serious torque on them if you do!
