Recommendation for Tire Guage

Just bought some new tires (Cooper AT3 Discoverer, 235/85/R16) and grateful for a recommendation for a tire guage you've been happy with...

If the cheaper ones last and are reasonably accurate, great; if not, can buy a better one.

Good choice on tires. They came on my truck and I like them. As far as a tire gauge. I bought a digital one from Wal-Mart probably 5 years ago and it still works like a charm. I believe it has the word "slime" on the side. Can't remember the cost but it was cheap so how can you go wrong w/ something like that

Thx... looked around quite a bit for tires, including some in here - saw some other great reviews online also. Looking forward to their winter performance, compared to what I had previously.

Can't argue with your Walmart digital guage experience, thx!

Great choice on tires. I just bought a set of 31s about 6 months ago.

I've always been a fan of this style tire gauge with the bleed valve. I've got no need for something else that needs batteries.

In an older thread on a different forum, the common agreement was that the simple pencil types were surprisingly accurate.

I keep a pencil style in the glove box of all my vehicles, a digital in the shop & a digi in the wife's escape. I like the repeat-ability in the digitals' & ease of vision. If they die, I toss it & pick up another at check out somewhere. I can't keep up with a nice mechanical gauge style.
