Prototype rear bumper build

Hey guys so i wanted a rear bumper with spare tire carrier/ jerry can holder but i couldn't find anyone that made one. SO.... we decided to build our own. this bumper is going to have dual swing outs that can either hold two spare tires or one spare tire and 1 jerry can holder..

let me know what you think. we should be done with it tomorrow.

Can't wait to see the finished product with all accessories mounted. If nothing else, it a strong bumper that puts the factory offering to shame.

Yeah x2 as Tim. That looks awesome. Nice job. That'll really take a beating too. Bet you won't worry to much about backing into to some thing now.
That would look awesome chrome plated IMHO.

Looks great, beautiful welds! I'd be a little Leary of having a gas can strapped to the back of my truck on road, the way people drive these days

Nice piece of work! You kept the body lines nice and straight and the rack over the bed lines up nicely with the roof lines too.

They are going to retail for 2k for the base bumper.... and they are ready to order now. they have about a 2 week lead time for them.... ill check the thickness but its way overkill on how tough they are....

I'd sooner feed like 5,000 starving kids in Africa or wherever then depart with $2,000 for a bumper .....it does look cool though
